Join Our Team at the Maple Corner Community Store & Whammy Bar!

The Maple Corner Community Store and Whammy Bar has experienced exciting growth over the past two years, and while we had a great crew through the summer, many of our team members are returning to school or to work in schools. We're currently looking to hire two new team members to join our dedicated, hardworking staff and get us through the fall and winter.

While each position has a primary focus area, all team members are expected to learn and assist with various aspects of the business, including:

• Retail Work: Operating the point-of-sale system, assisting customers, stocking shelves, and processing deliveries.

• Deli/Whammy Bar Work: Food preparation, making sandwiches and pizzas, and performing a variety of cleaning, cooking and baking duties.

Some weekend shifts are required for all employees. In some cases, these positions can be combined (for instance a Store Clerk may also work Line Cook shifts and vice versa).

Open Positions:

• Friday Night Whammy Cook (6 Whammy hours/week, can be combined with store hours). Seeking a competent cook with or without professional kitchen experience to work the Friday night Whammy shift each week. We will happily provide on the job training to the right person. Potential to expand to multiple Whammy nights per week.

• Store Clerk - (15-35 hours/week). Store & Deli staff member responsible for operating the point-of-sale system, preparing pizza, sandwiches and lunch specials as well as handling additional cooking & cleaning duties, including deli prep and some baking.

Minimum Requirements:

• Some customer service experience and a willingness to enhance your customer service skills.

• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.

• Ability to work on your feet for at least 6 hours at a time.

• Reading and math comprehension.

• Reliable transportation
